[12/20/07] - Here was the Takoma fellowship at Clydes Tower Oaks Lodge: The fire place, the gentlemen and the singers are in front of the hearth. We sat at the table between the poised animal and the toasty-warm fireplace. The ladies quartet was wonderful; upon request they sang the classic Mel Torme tune.

[12/17/07] - Subject: Subject: An atrocious Christmas pun Olaf and Martha lived in Minnesota and decided to go to Russia for the holidays. When they arrived there, they were assigned a Communist guide, Rudolf, to show them around. As they were getting ready to go back to their hotel, the skies clouded over and everything got dark.
Rudolf looked at the sky and said, 'It looks like rain.' Olaf, on the otherhand, looked at the sky and said, 'I'm from Minnesota and it looks like snow.' Just then the skies opened up and it rained and rained and rained. Martha looks at Olaf quite smugly and says, 'Rudolf the Red knows rain dear."
[12/17/07] - Kitty said that she wanted to contribute a haiku, but that she wanted hers to go on this holiday page. She would not be denyed. So...
